The Cauldron sisters have spent most of their lives living like gypsies; moving from town to town. Every five years, before they become too well known, before the people of the town begin to notice those little things that set them apart from other folks, they pack their belongings and set out to find the next Cauldron home.

Bentwood Shores is a quiet little town; rich in agriculture and history, and home to a small population of folk who’s founding ancestors go back more than two centuries and as many as five generations. Unseemingly, Bentwood Shores is also home to NorthStar, one of the country’s most prestigious science facilities, the roots of which reach back to the early 1800’s with the scientific contributions of its four founding members:  Professor Bleakly (Alchemist and Surgeon General), Admiral Gatlin (Astronomer and Fleet Admiral), Captain Hawk (Ship Captain to one of England’s leading export shipping companies), and Barron Van Wolf (Bentwood Shores General Hospital Chief of Staff and wealthy land Barron). Not much has changed since then and, despite the coo of its continuing scientific advances, the town folk go to great lengths to keep it that way.

So when the Cauldron sisters discover themselves the newest members of this stayed and tight lipped little community as the owners of the founding family Van Wolf estate home, they can’t believe their luck until the wool begins to unravel, revealing the town’s darkest of secrets may just be their own.
